Papa Johns menu FAQ and nutritional information.

For those of us that are concerned about nutritional values, ingredients and artificial items in Papa Johns Menu, (and thats pretty much all of us), this page will give you a good insight into the good ethical thinking behind Papa Johns menu andthe  Papa John´s  ingredients.

Do any of Papa Johns ingredients contain MSG?
PapaJohn’s does not add monosodium glutamate (MSG) to any of Papa Johns pizza toppings. However, there is MSG in Papa Johns Ranch and Blue Cheese Dipping Sauces.

Do Papa Johns products contain eggs?
Eggs are present in Papa Johns garlic ranch sauce, Wings and the breading on Papa Johns Chickenstrips. The following Dipping Sauces also contain eggs: Honey Mustard, Cheese, Ranch, Blue Cheese.

Do Papa Johns products contain peanuts or peanut oils?
Currently, all PapaJohn’s products are produced in peanut and tree nut – free facilities, with the exception of the Chocolate Pastry Delight desert item. The chocolate morsels used in/on this item, are produced in a facility that processes peanuts.

Does Papa Johns pizza contain Trans Fats?
All PapaJohn’s Pizzas, sides and other menu items have 0 Trans Fats.

Do Papa Johns menu items contain milk or milk products?
The following items used at Papa John’s contain milk or milk products: thin crust, cheese, garlic ranch sauce, Alfredo sauce, spinach Alfredo sauce, garlic Parmesan sauce, crisp topping used on Sweetreats, Parmesan cheese packet, and Papa Johns Blue Cheese, Ranch and Cheese Dipping Sauces.

Does Papa Johns sauce contain animal fats?
The answer is: NO. Only a blend of vegetable and extra virgin olive oils.

Does Papa Johns cheese contain animal derived enzymes?
The answer is: NO. It is a biosynthesized enzyme. (chymax)
Does you dough or sauce contain animal fats?
The answer is: NO. Papa Johns dough contains soybean oil, and Papa Johns pizza sauce contains a blend of either sunflower or canola oil with extra virgin olive oil.

Are there fillers in Papa Johns animal products?
The answer is: NO.

Does Papa Johns vegetables contain any preservatives?
Papa Johns fresh vegetables—onions, green peppers and mushrooms, are The answer is: NO, they are not treated with any preservatives. Papajohns canned vegetables—jalape and banana peppers, have less than 1/10 of 1% sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate; Papa Johns pepperoncini peppers contain sodium metabisulfite and calcium chloride, which are used as preservatives.

Does Papa Johns pizza crust contain soy?
All of Papa Johns crust options contain soybean oil.

Does Papa Johns dough contain animal fats?
The answer is: NO. Only soybean oil.

Are there animal derivatives in Papa Johns garlic sauce?
The answer is: NO. Papa Johns garlic sauce contains lactic acid, but this is not classified as an animal derivative because it has been fermented.

Are there animal-derived enzymes in Papa Johns products?
A majority of Papa Johns products contain biosynthesized and/or vegetable-derived enzymes. However, Papa Johns pan crust and the cheese blend used on Papa Johns Tuscan Six Cheese pizza contain animal-derived enzymes. Papa Johns pizza dough contains fungal or bacterial derivatives. Papa Johns garlic sauce contains lactic acid, which is not classified as an animal derivative because it has been fermented.
